Trains in Africa are not quite the same as in Europe or other first world countries. Expect less luxury and do not use this option if you are short of time.

At the time of writing, people commented that there was good security on the train and that it was a recommended experience, but best not done alone (they were travelling in 3rd class!).

These times are mere guidelines. Do not schedule important meetings based on these times - good chance you'll be late!
